Your Honda is equipped with the Maintenance Minder™ system, which tracks your driving conditions and alerts you when service is required.
Instead of following a fixed mileage schedule, your vehicle displays a combination of letters and numbers to tell you exactly what maintenance is needed.
Here's how to read it:
This tells you the primary type of service required, such as an oil change or a full inspection.
These appear alongside the main code and indicate additional services your vehicle needs at the same time.
Most of the time, you'll see a combination of both. For example:
A1 = Oil change + tire rotation
B2 = Oil and filter change + air filter and cabin filter replacement
B7 = Full inspection + brake fluid service
These codes are designed to simplify maintenance by grouping services together, so you know exactly what to take care of during your visit.
Because the system is based on real driving conditions, the timing of these codes can vary depending on how and where you drive.
(Newer Vehicles)
In addition to the main code, your vehicle may display one or more sub-codes. These indicate additional services that should be completed during the same visit.
