Honda continues to show why it is a go-to brand for families. The 2026 Accord, Accord Hybrid, Passport, and Ridgeline have each been named "Best Cars for Families" by U.S. News & World Report, taking the top spot in their respective categories.
These wins are not new territory. The Accord has now earned this title five times in the midsize car category, while the Accord Hybrid takes its third win among midsize hybrid cars. The Passport also secures its fifth win as the best two-row midsize SUV. The Ridgeline stands out this year by earning the first-ever award in the midsize pickup truck category.
Honda now holds a total of 43 awards from U.S. News & World Report in this category, more than any other brand. Even more consistent, at least one Honda model has been recognized every year since the awards launched in 2011.

Honda offers a full lineup of vehicles designed to be safe, reliable, and enjoyable to drive. These vehicles are sold through more than 1,000 independent dealers across the United States. The lineup includes models like the Civic, Prelude, and Accord, along with SUVs such as the HR-V, CR-V, Passport, Prologue, and Pilot. The Ridgeline pickup and Odyssey minivan complete the range.
Electrified vehicles now make up close to one-third of Honda's total sales. This includes the all-electric Prologue, hybrid versions of the Accord, CR-V, Civic, and Prelude, as well as the fuel cell CR-V e:FCEV.
Honda has been building vehicles in North America for over 40 years and operates eight major manufacturing facilities. In 2025, about 99 percent of Honda vehicles sold in the U.S. were made in North America, with roughly 62 percent built in the U.S. using domestic and globally sourced parts.
